How does it work?

The Success Kickstarter For New Hires provides your new team member with external 1-1 coaching support to help with their transition and ensure they are given the best shot at success.

Working 1-1 with me we use my Fulfilment Framework to map out their transition path, uncover and overcome any challenges and ensure your new hire is confident, motivated and fulfilled in the work they’re doing so you get maximum productivity and retention.

PHASE ONE: 1-1 Intensive

In a 2-hour deep dive, we create the framework and plan to ensure they’re set for success before they get into the distractions of their new role.

  • Pillar 1 - Be Well: We ensure the team member is doing what they can to get themselves mentally and physically ready for sustainable success. Working with them to set necessary boundaries, identify healthy habits, and supporting them to make it happen.

  • Pillar 2 - Be Aligned: We get razor clear on where the key opportunities are for this role to play to into the strengths, vision and values for your team member so they are fully aligned to the role and itching to get going. We work to identify development points and any early concerns and map out their strategies to overcome them.

  • Pillar 3 - Be Empowered: We use the findings from their PRINT Survey to reveal their potential blind spots that may have tripped them up in the past and coach them to understand why they exist and how they can easily eliminate them by addressing the root cause. We consider working styles, expectation setting, communication and conflict management to equip them with a plan to deliver in their first 90 days.

Phase Two: Implementation

We continue to coach your team member throughout the first 90 days of their new role to ensure an effective onboarding process in those early weeks of new relationships, expectations and deliverables being established.

We meet 1-1 up to 6 times over the 90 day period to unpack any ideas, opportunities and challenges that arise to ensure they’re on track, motivated and confident to proceed. They’ve got full email and text access to me in between sessions so they’ve got their coach in their pocket the whole time, and are fully supported with insights to get the results you all want, well into the future.

To me that’s helping someone perform at work and be happier in life, and at the end of the day, that’s what I’m all about.

As someone who has always been hungry for success and growth, I know from personal experience the impact that self-doubt and lacking confidence or motivation at work can have. Before I turned 40 (go figure!), I navigated a career change after years of having my head in the sand, to ensure I was doing what made me happy, as much as what allowed me to hit my personal and professional goals. With hindsight, a balance I had out of proportion for years.

I’ve worked in the career and recruitment space for over 18 years, and having partnered with 7,000+ individuals who have sought to find more fulfilment in the work they do or simply do it better, I know what it takes to overcome self-doubt to achieve results at work without compromising your personal wellbeing.

I’m an International Certified Results Coach, a Certified Member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and a PRINT® Certified Coach from The Paul Hertz Group and have worked with leaders for over 18 years to help them find satisfaction at work so they can love the life they live.

  • In an ideal world it happens before Day 1, after employment contracts are signed so the team member is armed with insights and a plan before starting. However, this isn’t always possible for organisations to commit to, in which case we aim for week 1 or 2 if possible. When employees learn that their new employer has invested in a Coach for them, it’s a powerful signal of commitment and care that set’s a very positive tone before they’ve walked in the door.

  • Absolutely, and that’s normal practice. There may be a delay between Phase 1 ending and Phase 2 starting pending start dates of employment but the maximum benefits are gained from the participant being coached through phase 1 and 2. Some organisations choose only to invest in Phase 1, possibly adding Phase 2 at a later date, and hence the option is there to separate for those that want to.
